Salt-X SX50

Salt-X SX50 is a concentrated washing/rinsing agent designed to remove salt residues, crystals and salt water from virtually any surface leaving a protective coating that preserves and extends the life of your dive dear.

The Washing Myth:

'Dunking and rinsing Dive Gear in fresh water removes Salt...'
It Doesn't!

Rinsing dive gear will significantly reduce the salt residue provided the salt has not been allowed to dry. Once dry salt forms a corrosive bond which rinsing will not break down. This salt residue slowly deteriorates your dive gear and this costs you money.

SX50 breaks down this bond and neutralize the salt's corrosive ability, stopping further damage. It then protects the metal or fabric from the destructive effects of Chloride Salts and minimise further damage. Its unique chemistry:

By using SX50 during cleaning and wash-down, your equipment will last longer, hold it's value and require reduced maintenance and repairs.

Incredibly Simple to Use:

1. Mix concentrate into fresh water: 1 litre makes 36 litres for normal rinsing. ( In an emergency you can even use salt water! Just mix 1 litre to 20 litres!!)
2. Soak item to be cleaned 
3. Remove and drain SX50 solution back into container
4. AIR DRY!! Your done, your valuable equipment is salt free and protected!
5. Pop a lid on your container of SX50 solution and use again until depleated.

SX50 gets into cracks and crevices, and rapidly disolves and destroys the salt residue that has accumulated there! As aggressive as SX50 is in removing even the harshest build up, laboratory tests have proven SX50 to be Non Toxic and Totally Environmentally safe!!

After 12 days the hooks, nuts, and bolts in the left hand jar of salt water are severely corroded, while the same items in the jar on the right, which contained Salt Water + SX50 are clearly unaffected.

This test was conducted at DEMA, Dive Equipment Manufacturers Association in Las Vegas in 1991. It clearly demonstrates how effective SALT-X SX50 is in neutralizing the corrosive ability of salt water.

Diver gear is expensive and Salt significantly reduces the life of Wetsuits and Dry suits, BCDs, corrodes tanks once protective paint coatings are damaged, creates havoc with regulators and salt crystals can get into seals on camera housings causing leaks.

Diligent rinsing and soaking after a dive, NEVER removes all the salt!

Effectively removing salt from Dive gear without causing damage to metal, glass, rubber, fabrics, etc. has always been a challenge. SX50 will remove the salt

SX50 will NOT harm rubber, fabrics, metals, glass, or plastics.

If your Dive Gear is heavily salt encrusted, simply mix 1 litre of SX50 with 35 litres of fresh water and soak your dive gear.

After soaking in SX50, let your Dive Gear AIR DRY. Do NOT wash off the SX50!

Take a small Spray Bottle of SX50 for cleaning Camera & Video Housings between dives, then you can safely open them to change batteries or data storage without worrying about salt and salt crystals!

Use it on zippers to keep them working smoooothly!!!

Salt-X SX50 is recommended by manufacturers such as Diverite for the maintenance of their Scuba Equipment because it increases the life and reliability of their dive gear. It also makes servicing easier, because there is no salt residues or encrustation!
